Final qualifying is up on DRC, won't have any eliminations results until tomorrow evening.
Things ran a bit late and the track cooled off, so they postponed first round of Super Gas to Sunday. |

Sorry I haven't posted today but we have had company visiting and I have been trying to explain Stock eliminator and super street ( since hey ran before us) to our friends and I realized that is not a very easy thing to do!
But for the important things--we won 1st round!!! Yea!! Ronnie Traupman redlighted against us!! It has been another beautiful all day here. It started out a little cool, but sunny all day. We ran 2 qualifiers, then 1st round around 4:00. They also ran the first round of super stock this evening. We start out in the morning with 11.0 index at 9:30, then round 2 of stock. Winners today were Allison, Hill, Adkinson, Tuttle, G. Russell, Brooks, Campolito, Schrimsher, Rover, Bailey, Kincaid, Dobson, Bricker, Tolson, Lamar, Nees, Fitzpatrick, Parker, Lindsey, Longhany, Mace, Pinkston, Pappas, Roberts, and Hamby. No shows were Reeves, Smith, and Willis. Willis blew his engine yesterday, but I don't know what happened to the others. Mack never made a good pass. |

![]() ![]() Happy Valentine's Day to Mr. Dave Ley and Mrs. Gloria Ley after almost 35 years of wedded bliss! And Happy Valentine's Day to all the wives who are at home and not out here racing with their hubby's today! We all had a great day here at the track! ![]() And this is a picture of our visitors here today! On the left is Dan Smith and his wife Delores from Seminole, FL that Larry graduated and played basketball with at Austin Peay. On the right is their daughter Dyionna and her husband Tim that live here in Orlando. I think they all enjoyed their first trip to the racetrack, but I don't know if they understand all the ins and outs of racing in 1 day!! ![]() All of us!! As you can see, Larry and Dan see eye to eye~ I will try to get more pics tomorrow!! Good night!! |
