Terry, I found phone numbers from Clayton Wright and Kent Ritter, dead end on both of those leads.... (Clayton Wright does have his 68 cuda car for sale ) but no help on the original engine for my superbird.
I have not talked to Joe Umbra, (phone number you gave me turned out not a good number for Joe....thanks for the "leg work" Terry , as i told you on the Phone , IF something comes of good from you lead, Ill reward you.
Please keep in touch .

The Baugman car was owned by a friend. His wife ran it in MANDRAwith a hemi. The car name was The High Gloss Hemi.I know the car had a bunch of different motors swapped out over the years. I know the person that owns the car now also, same paint just no lettering. I can ask some of the old racers I know here in Md.

Another cool article on the Karl Gould car . Bought this copy of Raceway news (* got a PM from a board member here that is was on EBAY).

Once again in this article it mentions the Hemi superbird winning over the Briggs Chevrolet team, But losing the Tritak and Morgan team.

does anyone know if the Briggs Chevrolet would have been the LS6 convertible??? , (* it appears so to me in the article). You guys read it and give me your thoughts....

Did Briggs Chevrolet run another SS/EA car in 1970??
