Absolutly !!! The more the merrier!!!

Remember we are an "outlaw" track....lol

Yes we will be allowing anyone that falls into those categories, even those local guys who do not necessarily fall into NHRA or IHRA categories.

Jeremy, I'm Mike with the rear engine funny car and fuel altered, do they prep the track any better for Sat than on Thurs (for TNT)?? We were there Nov 8, there was NO traction. I love that place and call it my home track, we just landed new sponsor (Michael Holley Chervrolet) and want to impress at our home track, rolling our car on practice night would NOT do it (yes, that was me, nearly turning it over). We are switching to the funny car body from the altered, and will be back out in December, trying to pick a night to invite all the guys from work (big bosses) but we need traction, saw guys in the 4's on previous Sat, so I'm guessing they VHT'd the track that night, is Thurs just a bad idea for high powered cars ?? Nobody I talked to on thurs was getting down there, and some packed up early, I tried throttle stops (for the first time ever) and made a second run, still skated around, but not as bad as that first run.

Mike -

CONGRATS on the new sponsor !!! That is AWESOME!!! As far as the track goes, please let me know when you are going out there and I will make sure that we go an extra mile for you.

I want to set up a time to talk to you about somethings that are happening for the track, and I think that it would be great for your sponsor. We picked up a new sponsor as well... LMP!!! So when all this hospital stuff is over, I will get with you about setting up a time to talk.

Awesome Jeremy, I'm part of the "Southern Classic Funny Cars" group now, we run on a 4.90 index and do match races in the southeast USA, would like to get my funny car buddies to come and race there, and was very disappointed by the lack of track prep, don't get me wrong I love that track and want to support it (I live 3 miles up the road) moved my whole team here just to race there, we are finally getting the Vette body on it (at our sponsors request) should be back out in December, will call you, and give heads up, when its a little closer. In the mean time you get better, our track needs you, thanks Mike---- P.S. congrats on YOUR new sponsor as well !!

Mike -

I will let you know if it helps any, that at the Import event that we just held we had 2 cars that were in the Pro/Super Pro class, and they were dialing and running aroun 4.87 and the track held...

I would love to get things set up to where we can have an event that would feature you guys in conjunction with some others. How many people are you talking about that would be at an event?? How do you all run your program? Do you lease the track, or do you come in like a regular event run by the track ?
