1967 ~ Shirley Shahan
Was it a; * Coronet 'Model 440' - '426 Street Hemi' * Coronet R/T ~ '426 Street Hemi' * Coronet 'Model 440' ~ 'WO23' Hemi' > Low-back Bucket Seats > Front-and Rear Bumper Guards > Chrome-Trim rocker-panel molding > Front-Grille {Black-out Paint} > Were the 'R/T' Emblems added on later > Was the 'WO23' Hood-Scoop added on later. Here, Shirley is running at an AHRA Track....... Formula Class / B Stock '6' ![]() Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 05-22-2015 at 06:53 AM. |

Pete,
I think it was a Coronet R/T with the '426 Street Hemi'. I'm pretty sure Shirley was running the car back in January 1967, before the WO23 'Super Stock Packages' were released. Also, here is a photo of the Trunk-Deck Lid, with the R/T deco trim on the Trunk-Deck lid rear panel. ![]() Most of the early SS/B and SS/BA 'Super Stockers' in 1967 added the WO23 Hood, when it became available in mid-March 1967.
