What's wrong with that stuff? I thought it looked pretty good. I think I had that much hair back then. Does anyone remember (other than me) when J.C. Penny used a pull cable system to make change? You went to a counter, the clerk prepared the sales ticket and put your money and the ticket in the little container (about the size of a large coffee mug) which was attached to the cable. The clerk pulled the cable and sent the container along a cable to the second floor where all change was made. Then the upstairs sent the container with the receipt and change. There were probably 10 or 15 cable stations in the store. I am now in the early 50's.
