Some of the Make A Wish kids enjoying their day at the races. All the kids got to make a 'pass' in their favorite car during the parade pass before eliminations. The big smiles say it all!

Congratulations to Jason and to Doug also. Those two are definitely two of the best.
It was great to meet some of the kids when they were going though the pits. I hope a lot of money was raised to help Make a Wish. Also thank you Al,Mark, and Liz for sharing the pictures with us.

62 cars for Sunday's race. The winner was Pappilion, Nebraska's Paul Merolla in his E/S '66 Nova over Bell Fourche South Dakota's Bob Swan in his C/SA 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang.
A bit of trivia....Paul's Nova build is documented here under the Class Racer Build section. Bob's GT500 is a real-deal original Shelby. Photo credit to Tim McVay...thanks, Tim!
