In stock it's still Helms or Defrank. In super stock Morris got his semi appearance to take the lead. Rampy can still win it and so can Lamb. This one will likely be undecided heading into Pomona.

Rampy and Lamb can only claim the divisional so SS will most likely be decided this weekend, if one of them does pass Morris he can still claim Pomona to get it back.

Clutch driving from Lamb to take the lead. Morris must go to final to get it back.

Actually, I believe Nick Morris can win the title by reaching the semifinals. If there are more than 64 cars he will win it outright. With less than 64 cars, he will tie Lamb with a semi. Haven't looked yet to see who'd win the tie-breaker.
In Stock the math is fairly simple. Jimmy DeFrank wins the race, he's the champ. If not, Kevin Helms gets his fourth title. Anyone else love to see these two heavyweights race in the final? Super Comp and Super Gas also to be decided and Mike Shannon can still win both of them. Always love the drama surrounding the Vegas, Vegas, Pomona fall swing. |
