![]() ![]() I'm sure number of you veteran racers can appreciate this. At the show I saw lots of fellow racers, and customers - and I could remember the car they raced, how quick they went, who they beat in the third round at Indy 10 years ago, how much power they made on the dyno, but I couldn't begin to remember their names. But it sure was good seeing them all.

I was surprised and excited to see Stahl Headers at the show. I've always wanted a set of Stahl Headers for my Mopar so I stopped by to inquire. I spoke with Greg - the lead fabricator from Stahl - who is operating the "new" Stahl. He said the headers jigs were sold in different lots and a number of different people ended up with them. He has most of the Chevy jigs and continues to build and sell Chevy Headers - but not the 55-57 jigs, Those jigs along with the remaining 55-57 Chevy inventory were sold to a gentleman from Texas who has no plans to start up production. The Mopar jigs were sold sold to a guy in Pennsylvania or Maryland who may be interested in having some headers built. I have a lead to track him down. And Jere's daughter Judy is still involved as a part time sales person.
There's no website for the "new" operation, and for those interested the phone number is 717-232-2800. ![]()

Those headers going straight up are the ones we ran on our mud racing trucks in the 80.s. Kits were cheap as the dickens, weld'em up, get them chromed (to make the mud not stick) and bolt'em on. Wildest ride you ever saw.

For those that don't know Judy is Jere's wife and very smart when it comes to header building and sales.
