I did all those things at the start too Alan. All was going well until I told the medical professional that I wanted to ground-up build an AMC Stocker so I could go really slow.
He had some interesting names of pills available for me...

I just picked up my car from a guy who did the headliner and carpet to the tune of 500 bucks.

Hello Gents,
I am a newbie here and have a question on interiors for stockers. Is it necessary to keep the molded plastic stuff or can you use some sort of fabric? The molded plastic is junk in older stuff and has the potential to be toxic in case of fire.

In Stock and Super Stock the interior, with some listed exceptions, must be as originally produced. That other than the kick panels all of my Mustang's interior dash area is stock appearing with reproduction plastic stuff replacing the crapped out dash panel. The forward pillars of the cage block installment of the kick panels so I have aluminum sheet of the same size and color there.
