My guess is after they are worked they are the same but thats only a guess.
Thanks
Stewart I was told that the Stage 5 Mopar head is a legal replacement for the 906 in SS. I'm not sure if that is a certain year only for the 906. The Stage 5 must have the 2.08 intake, and the 1.74 exhaust!1111111111111 John Lang P.S. The stage 5 head is better in the ports John.

John
The early Stage 5 head 4286526 and the later Stage five 4529992 both carry the 2.08 1.74 valve package but I don't see either listed in the NHRA specs. The only head of interest is the 4532287. Believe it was a replacement head somewhere along the line and NHRA only accepts it for Super Stock, not Stock which makes me think it might be worth a look. Whatever advantage it holds to disallow it in Stock may wash out when subjected to a good Super Stock port job.
Racing next year?

Stewart, I sure hope so as far as racing goes. The doctors think they know whats wrong in the head, My body produces more spinal fluid than needed, which puts presure on the brain, which causes me to fall over and get all disorie nted. i'm just installing a new Hemi in the SS/CA car, and my C/SA RR is all set to go. Hopefully get the ok from the doctor after they did the Spinal Tap! 100% better. What happened to your Hemi project? Hope all is well, John Lang

Stewart, Yes i'm planning on racing, I believe we've got my med problems taken care of ! I'm just installing a new engine in the SS/CA car, and my C/SA RR is set to go! Jeff from MCH told me about the Stage 5 being legal in SS,only with the 2.08 in & 1.74 ex . What ever happened with the Hemi project you were working on? Hope all is well with you, John Lang in the snow land.........

John
Sold my car to Warren Barnett when my shop got sold out from under me. Its been built and is the #2 car. If we can ever get the #1 car to run like the dyno says it should we might try to run #2 but we can't seem to figure out how to raise the anchor. It is consistant. We made 3 1/8 mile passes one day within .008 but I won't say in public what they were. Its off from the 60' to the 1320', not just one area. I only work as needed at the shop and have not been there since late Oct. last year I was off from Nov-March. If they start running faster without me I may not get to go back. So I'm putting together a 68 car for GT/EA with a 383. If I get really stupid it might end in GT/E.
I will have to find out about the Stage 5 stuff. The #'s dont show up in the tech sheets but I'll call NHRA or may try Jeff and see where he got his info.
Hope the Doc gives you the go-ahead. I have my Physical for a lic. renew 12/13.
Hope to see you at the track next year. Stay warm.
