Thanks Dale. My membership number is different than my car number. ( 5 digits) Car number is 3777 I figured it out now. 120 a year includes both NHRA membership and the car #. I paid for one year's membership last month. My car number ( which NHRA calls Competion License #) expires 2/29/16 So it looks like I need to contact NHRA and get my membership fee pro rated before I send them money.

NHRA would like to simplify billing for member racers by consolidating the renewal dates for both cards. If they are going to increase the drivers fee, I would at least like a fancier card. Gold foil. Laminated. Embossed. Maybe an embedded chip so all my paperwork was waiting for me when I pulled up to the gate every weekend. Dancing girls with flowers. Free beer and hotdogs. Covered pit stalls.... Dale
