How can you have heads-up runs at a National Event (LV1) when NHRA stupidly sets a quota at 70 cars in Stock and this a race that has class run offs.
As I stated before this averages out to 1/2 car per class and people seem surprised by the lack of heads-up runs..................... Bob PS: And I never ducked a heads-up race.... I got my *** kicked and made the car faster... Remember when the 1st round of Stock or Super Stock had a bunch of cars that couldn't run the index... So much for performance.. It's NHRA's plan not mine to eliminate Heads-Up runs... PPS: Thanks for the asterisks I got carried away

I agree too many classes...
My suggestion. Standardize on the A-Z Stock or SS class weight breaks/ Put GT, Pure Stock, Truck, Crate...Under one of the S or SS Indexes. Still have to fit their respective rules! Going to be a few adjustments..but it will get sorted out. My F/PS would fit close to the Q/SA Class. Dan |

All these ideas have been hashed out many times before. None of it is going to happen.
