Make sure you have a good filter between the tank and that pump. They are a gearotor design with very tight clearances. Anything in the fuel will bind it up. Great pump if you keep it very clean. The Holley regulator should work fine.

Thanks George, that is what I wanted to know. I already have a canister filter so I'll make sure it's in there before start up.
