Stock & S/S combo race at Milan Dragway on Sunday May 15. Same format as last year. $75 entry - will draw for qualifying position and run off a sportsman ladder. Gates open at 9:00 - 2 time runs starting at 10:00. No heads up runs. This is a good opportunity to get some practice before Norwalk. And as always, we will have fun.

Despite occasional snow flurries and temps in the low 40s, some die hard Class Racers turned out for the Combo Race today. Charlie Bob Downing made the tow back from Atlanta, grabbed a couple hours of sleep and then loaded Father Bobs' stocker up to prove that the trans does in fact work. Now that's a good Son.
Zach Running and Brad Zaskowski braved the temps and flurries along with Gordon Casey and Mike Warren with their cool 6 cylinder 69 Camaro. Local racers Russ Abrams, John Nechoporchak and Tuning Ace Bill Owen made it. Ford experts George Wright and Dennis Wydendorf both had modern Coyote powered cars. And Jerry Kassin brought his very cool SS/AH Dart. After a couple of delays for flurries is was Sam Monteleone in his FSS/D Cobra Jet taking the win at 9.00 with a .005 package over my 10.25 . 032 light and right on the dial. Despite the light turnout, the racing was close. Don Holben came to watch along with former Mopar Stock Racer Bob Cousineau. From the left is Bob and his son, Russ Abrams and John Nechaporchek. ![]() Winner Sam Monteleone and runner Up Mike D. Congrats to Sam, he really has gotten the handle on his still new CJ. He was .009 in round 2 !! ![]() ![]()
