I saw the ad on RacingJunk a while back, but as you found out, the seller didn't share a whole lot of information on it. It's listed as a "GS Sport Wagon", but I'm sure a previous owner just installed the "GS" badges.
There maybe some information somewhere on the NHRA archive site, or maybe a call to the Division 4 office could help locate the original owner(s) and get you some more history on the car. It looks really nice from the picture you posted! Good luck and I hope you get a chance to bring another 'wagon "back to the track"! UPDATE - I did a little more investigating and learned that the gentleman who original raced this 'wagon was Bobby Dee Myers, who raced in Division 3. Sadly he passed away in June of 2012, but hopefully one of his many friends here on ClassRacer will be able to share their memories of Mr. Myers and his 'wagon.

I pitted beside this car at Ennis 2005 divsional can't remember his name, but if you can find qualifying sheet it will be the only green Buick O/SA on the sheet! Guy said he lived in Ft. Worth.
