Don't know what you are reading Mr.freak but I didn't apologize and I didn't bash half the stock racer on here, and if I did offend some people on here I don't care! Like one of the REAL racers said on here, the truth hurts!

Talk about hijacking a thread !!
One of many reasons I rarely get on this Forum is because of where this thread went holly S--t ( mic-drop ).....

Threads like this could be a reason that NHRA or IHRA aren't gaining any ground.
Who would want to deal with all the negativity when trying to grow their business.

MASTER PLAN
Charge more, give less. Thursday-Friday time trials for sportsman, night Pro qualifying Fri. Saturday all sportsman eliminations including finals, night Pro qualifying. Sunday Pro eliminations. Fields limited to 32 or 64 for sportsman, pros 16 or 8. All sportsman will be a "Junior League" to be completed before Sunday. Alky classes now labeled semi-Pro, run same as pros, but qualify with sportsman. Sportsman grade point level achieved through divisionals. Must have a minimum of 3 to enter. Driver registration fee at beginning of year to be eligible to compete. (similar to F1.) Payouts through corporate. And that my friends is what I see for the future. Ron Ortiz U/SA $$$$$$$

That happened in 2004 with the first Cajun Sportsnationals at Belle Rose. It was the U/SA Shootout. Pat Joffrion had all us U cars parked together near the scales. There were several donations put up for the race, it was a huge success and a blast for all. There hasn't been another one since then. Bob Shaw even had shirts made up for us. We had cars from CA, KY, TN, LA, FL, MO.
As fast as some of them are going now I believe that the field would not be so great. It would be a shootout between Bob Shaw and The Flying Factored Fords, all running in the high 12's. Lets see, if I cut a triple zero and pick up a full second, they still have me covered. I know, go work on your stuff, OK anybody got around ten thou for that extra second. Maybe I should send a letter to NHRA for refactor. About 50 HP should do it. Better yet, I need a new car with a low HP rating, like a new Challenger with a small block. Thank you for the thought Dan. Ron Ortiz U/SA bottom qualifier.
