during the 60's Ford used Autolite as a trade name for a lot of parts. The government for some reason sued Ford and made them sell the spark plug division so Ford started using Motorcraft for their parts and Fram/Allied Signal ended up with Autolite.

The best Autolite Carb guy I know is George Thompson "Carburetor Flow
Engineering". I can look up his number if you want. His cars are always near the top of the field out here in the West!

In 1974,I bought a,1970 Javelin SST 360 auto,Mark Donahue signature car big spoiler, factory cold air hood for 1500 dollars. It had a carter AVS I always thought that was the original carb.
