It rained last night and as of 6:45 am no action on the track. We start with stock at 9:00 am, and with a little luck we should get all of our runs in. It's a "Showdown" weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing these cars in action. Cross your fingers and hope for a good track, if they hook someone might make it into the teens and be way north of 165 mph. Now that would be "Way Cool"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning all, its a little damp out and still cloudy, but the weather is supposed to clear up later. They are drying the track and it looks as if there are almost done. Stock is out first, but not at 9AM. I would think 9:30 would be the call.

Weather numbers are below, with very little barometer, it looks to be a slow day.

Ditto what Patsy said, you could not have a more pleasant day at the races. Mid 70's with a cool breeze. Its me and Larry tomorrow in round 2, so at least one of us will be heading on to the third round.

All the sportsman are done for the day, except Super Comp which will run round 2 around 7:30pm tonight. I have lots more photos, but the internet is kind of slow and will post them later tonight.

A few of the heavy hitters are out in Super Stock, while most of the heavy hitters are still in Stock, It should be fun with some tight racing tomorrow morning.

As of 8:45 no announcements of anything here at the track. The track driers are running, but it has still been sprinkling just a little. "The Cover of the Rolling Stone" has not played yet either. I actually miss "Ilene"! That always signaled the beginning of the race! But anyway!
