Ive been to Pittsburgh Many times. Love that place. I cant justify the cost of a 1000+ mile trip to run for $1,000 bucks plus another $500 in contingency. I know it only matters if you win but Cost are Cost.

Total 5 Pure Stockers showed up Saturday and 6 on Sunday.
Think that was the count but still a great showing! Had a lot of people drop by and say hello! Keystone very friendly and relaxed. Sure glad the heat and humidity went away. Nice breeze all weekend. Sure could use a picture of your cars. Will post them in the Pure Stock Photo Gallery. D |

I know everyone has their reasons, it would just be nice to see local racers support the event more. It was well run, was finished in reasonable time each day, etc.

I am planning on 2 events per month; Pittsburgh is a great facility and my only trip there was a great experience. The sad reality is that it costs about $800 CDN minimum to make the trip and it just didn't make sense for me this year.
