Jim & Kathy,
We want to send our wishes for recovery for Jim and strength for both of you. Stay focused on the daily things and plan for the future. There are three questions to consider: Do I like what has happened? Can I change what has happened? Can I accept what has happened? A dentist I worked for told me that when he was battling leukemia he asked himself those questions and found that the answers were NO, No and Yes, which helped him during the treatments, hospitalizations etc. Those questions helped me when Rascal bit me at Englishtown, causing me to go to the ER and followup plastic surgery on my nose. I realize that this is nothing like what you are dealing with, but I hope they help you in this battle. This is a little lengthy, but we realized that something was going on when we weren't seeing you at the races. We will keep you both in prayer, find comfort in the obvious impact you've made in many lives.
