All the Sportsman classes were run on Saturday down to the semi finals. It was sunny and in the high 70s with awesome track conditions.
The stands were packed on both sides of the track with fans cheering local winners, skinny packages and 0.00 lights. A heads up run in Stock raised the interest level quite a bit. In other words, folks in the stands knew their class racing. The announcers really knew their class stuff and called a good game. My only complaint is that Cody Lane's C/SMA car is consistently called "C Super Modified Automatic" when the class is actually "C/Stock Modified". The nitro sideshow announcer mostly stayed away from the mic. I hate that guy. No offense. Having seen the Stock final, I left Sunday before the officials finally called the race feeling that I had seen the best part of the show the day before. I'll see the SS final at the Lucas Oil race in two weeks. Dale

Way to go Brad & Ryan! I was hoping/praying that you two did well up there, and I see those hopes/prayers were answered!
