Congratulations to Pete Olivero winning the Saturday combo race over Tom Williams, and to Tod Haste winning Sunday's combo over Brian Seaburg.
There was technical error which caused first round to be re-run on Saturday. A consequence of the delay was that Jim Devine had to leave, giving Pat Brooks the first round single in their match-up. Larry McLanahan had problems with his white Cobra Jet Mustang, giving another single to Cal Method. McLanahan retrieved his back-up Cobra Jet to re-join Sunday's eliminations. Brian Seaburg was #1 Qualifier both days. Special thanks to Larry Merk & Cal Method for handling the ladders.

Thanks Mike for the update. When they have the combo races at Pacific Raceways I help with the ladder and any other way that I can. Looks like I missed a great pair of races. Obviously the weather was good, also.

Forgot to add that Peter Oliviero actually doubled Saturday also winning in Sportsman.
Hopefully the Combo is scheduled & announced a little earlier next year, was a good time.

Thanks to all the racers who were able to come out and support this race. The weather was awesome. We saw some great racing and it sure looked like everyone had a good time. I know I did.
Track Manager Derek Snelson asked me to pass along his thanks to all who made it to the the race. He recognized there was short notice for this race which likely prevented some from attending. He plans to host the race next year but will get it scheduled and publicized sooner. After the last race this year on October 16, they will immediately begin some paving and other track improvement projects. Congratulations to Pete Olivero and Tod Haste on their wins, and Tom Williams and Brian Seaburg on their runner-up efforts. Hope to see even more folks at this race next year. Mike, thanks for posting the photos and results.
