Hi all,

I love this track it's smooth as glass, uphill shutdown, downhill return road and downhill staging lanes.............

The only other thing that I would want was it be closer to my home.....

Happy racing to all,
Bob

PS:
I almost forgot the best thing which is the chocolate chip cookies at the time slip booth

Good morning. The weather for today is looking much better - no more rain. I'll be back later with a report - signal permitting. Photos will have to wait till tonite when I can get on WiFi.

Hi,

I have a question.................

I just went to the Lucas Live Timing site to check on Super Stock qualifying and they only had 20 cars listed......

Is it a very bad turn out or a problem live timing?????????????????

Thanx,
Bob

Unique burn out box at Earlville.Screen first to clean your tires. Then a wet metal surface to get them moist. Then the burn out surface itself. Works well.

my last trip out there i went to Dyersville and filled the lounge up with model kits from the AMT store. went to fields of dream, had to show my drivers license cause nobody would believe i had the same name as "shoe less" lol
Tri State is a great place to go to, if you have not been there, its got to be on your "bucket list".

There are many elements of the design and construction at Earlville that are well thought out and the burnout box is one of them. As Lyn noted above the metal grating over the pit before driving into the water captures lots of the pebbles and gravel that the slicks pick up in the pits. After each class is complete one of the workers power washes that metal plate and hoses all the debris into that pit under the grate. I counted four or five workers in each lane between the Burn out box and starting line.
