Beagles in the burnout box 8:50 AM.......Wind driven rain as seen in Belle's ear flop.....For the sharp eyed viewer, yes Bruno's brace does have a JEGS contingency sticker.

The rain has stopped for a bit, but it looks like it could start up again at anytime. Its cold, cloudy and damp, so even if they started drying the track now it would take most of the day to get it ready. There has been no word on what today's schedule will be or what the plans are. I guess we will all just sit tight and wait.
As soon as they make some type of announcement, I will up date. |

It's already scheduled for the same time in 2017. Wonder if you will see a revision to the schedule after this thing is completed. It's just a bad time in the Northeast to race. Change from Summer to Fall, Hurricane Season and the way the track sits in the gully and clouds / rain just sits there. The Dutch was always the same way. You knew going into the Dutch at least one day or more would be effected by rain.

As Ken said we are finished for today - there is just to much water to dry the place out -and the low temps and high humidity without the help of the Sun would make it impossible .
