It looks like the 350/355 hp COPO cars will have to weigh a little more come Tuesday. 3.25% of 355 will be 12 more hp, making the new power to 367hp. I bet that will make a few new copo owners real happy. The new factor will be 8.70

I'm not sure if I missed this rule or what, although I think it's an awesome idea to tear down anyone that goes 1.20 or more under, but I do believe this is the first one I've heard of. Car owner Daren Poole-Adams has been known to set a few precedences!

It is a good thing, as long as they continue to do it! We are are good, having a great time but I'm sorry to say my car let Justin down this weekend. We have all winter to get it straight!

Gump's car passed with flying colors! He saw some places to adjust to make even more power. As a former champ once said " Its all part of racing"
Our season is over and tomorrow starts my quest for the 2017 championship. Good luck to all and we hope to see you in the lanes. Time to start the bus. |

D3 has done this before. Not sure how consistsntly it is applied though. I think it is a very good idea. Heck, I think they should award points for record setting as well! You would think the manufacturers that sell the new cars would love that idea! They could even sell "tear down services" for hire for those that didn't want to do their own wrenching! ![]()
