looking at the 2008 rule book page 111 (Advanced E.T.) where does it say anything about use of alcohol needing a 15 suit?

in the 08 rule book page 98, 7th paragraph, "open bodied meth burning". Also in the 08 rules revisions on the NHRA home site. They added some new verbiage about it. |

The way I read the changes is that any Supercharged or turbocharged rear engine car on methanol require a -15 suit...
I would agree that anyone running N2O on a rear engine car should also have one.. But if your making naturally aspirated HP.. on Methanol.. same as it always has been.. A -5 suit.. |
