Payout information for the 2017 John Scotti Cars/Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame sponsored Stock/Super Stock Shooout at the PC Richard & Son NHRA National Open at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario, Canada, June 16-18. With $25,000 USD to be won, you don't want to miss this event!

Race #1 - Saturday

Winner - $6,000
Runner-Up - $2,000
Semi-Finals - $630 x 2 = $1,260
Quarter-Finals - $300 x 4 = $1,200
Third Round - $125 x 8 = $1,000
Second Round - $65 x 16 = $1,040

Total Guaranteed Payout - $12,500 USD

Race #2 - Sunday

For those who have asked, you can expect an official announcement from the host of the event, Toronto Motorsports Park, with full event details for all classes competing, in the coming weeks.

In the meantime though, we can confirm the following details which are the same as last years event. Those Stock and Super Stock racers typically not permitted to compete in NHRA events, based on classification (i.e. Crate Motor Stockers, Stock GT, Pure Stock, Super Stock Production), will be permitted to compete at this event provided they pass all NHRA Safety/licensing rules. Racers wanting to compete at this event can purchase NHRA license and chassis at the event.

Good news from the folks at the CDRHF...over 90 entries to date. US racers, with your dollar worth 40% more than the Beaver Buck, everything outside the entry fee is ridiculously affordable. Such a deal!!!

Is it necessary to pre-enter? Can you enter at the gate? Thanks.

Talked to John Scotti on Sat. and you do not need to pre enter. You may pay at the gate. He also said he would return a racers entry fee if for any reason they paid and could not compete. Also said he would bump up payout if they get over 100 entries.
