That's the reason I asked, why does NHRA have to make it so hard to understand their rules, simple wording would suffice.

Back in the mid 60s I saw a guy in a 442 trash his foot real good doing what is now a transbrake start. Rev in neutral and punch the LOW button. I have an SFI bellhousing, flexplate and trans shield no matter what the rules require. I like my feet where they are...

This is why I buy a rule book every year . It is good to keep up on all the current rules !
