My take: Since its the end of the night, after TF #2 under the lights, why not squeeze in a few big wheelstanding stock and superstockers in before the jets.......Not a qualifying run, a very limited wheelstand contest for selected racers......for money of course......$2,500 to the winner? Fans would like it, wheelies under the lights.
Since the national events are all about performance, then stock and superstock could do its unique performance art in front of the fans, when they are actually there, and paying attention. Might attract some new racers and fans , and god forbid inspire a kid or two to do what we do. Its an idea, and I'd gladly put another run on the dakota in the 9inch tire class, I am sure Mike Iacono would be game with with his Pink wheelie machine. Eric

What's the oildown policy for jet cars? Don't they "oil" the track every time they make a run?
