Larry Morgan also ran Super Gas with the Fiero. .... They had a really low minimum weight if you ran a 4 cyl. ...I think He ran at several events in SG, before moving to Comp. ......Tom

the rod shop built the fiero to run in comp. eliminator. H/A it was an iron duke 5-spd. the few times it ran super gas was for extra seat time and to sort out the new engine combination. The fiero was available with an iron duke in it from the factory.
The t-1000 that larry nelson drove was run in modified compact class. The year of car he had was actually available with an iron duke in it from the factory. The t-1000 was a very nice car. David nickens also raced an iron duke 5-spd. in modified compact when he first started. |

Larry Nelson still has the Pontiac T-1000 with the Iron Duke engine,and occasionally competes in Division 3.
