Correct. Powerglide-only cars should not be allowed to run a 3 speed, and 340 cars should not be able to run an intake that didn't come on them. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Moot point, I guess. I'm one of the few (apparently) that ever got fed up enough with NHRA to take my money elsewhere.

There are a few that have had enough and found something else to do.

I think it would take a trailer load of beer just to list what everyone thinks should be eliminated from a different brand competitors combo, and maybe two more loads to get it typed, not counting the three loads it would take to get all the explanations from all the folks why their competitor should get hit and not them. Now, that is 6 trailer loads of beer. I can tell you that is a lot of beer. After Katrina, one of our major customers is a beer distributor and the fleet went under, all loaded. 9 truck loads of beer. It was given to us provided we didn't sell it. We tried, we drank, the bottle caps rusted, but pliers fixed most of them, we kept trying. The cans started leaking, we drank it faster, and we did not get close. But nobody died or turned a funny color. So who will buy the first 100 cases. I think Billy, since he started this. What ya'll think?

Ya know Mr. Jeff, that's an awful lot of beer. And where there's an awful lot of beer there's an awful lot of pi*s. I don't like people pi*sing on my shoes and telling me it's raining!
You seem to be the Mopar guy that knows where all of this got started. Find the guy that started it and get him to buy the first 100 cases of beer. I'm not a beer drinker any way. I thought it was common knowledge that I'm a Tequila drinker.
But that being said, I'll take you and your crew out for dinner and drinks any time!
I'm sipping my first 3 fingers while I'm typing this, OBTW.
