Wes Neely takes the Saturday Stock trophy when he was able to force Sam Porceau to run under his dial.

Slate Cummings ran a 9.172 on his 9.17 dial to Jerry Hatch's 9.488 on a 9.47. Reaction times not announced.

Photos to come to tomorrow after I get back to Houston.

Thanks Pete. If I do this again from San Antonio and / or Baytown I'll try to be better prepared. I figured out my camera a little better during down time so hopefully the pictures will be better when I have to post tomorrow.

Writing content wise...... I'm limited only by wifi, having a place to charge the lap top, and getting info quickly. For two years I was a sports writer in my spare time. Is there any demand for reporting out of D-4?

How can I contact John Long Jr. ?
He ran a C/PS car and qualified in middle of the field.

I'm back home in Texas, otherwise I'd pass along your info.

Perhaps you can try through the IHRA? When I bought my AMC I got a phone call from the NHRA a few month later to pass along the phone number of the guy who built the car since he wasn't on Class Racer or any other sort of racing message board. So that idea worked for him.

Hey Dan, IHRA gave me some of the Pure Stock Challenge sticker, so i slapped them on there on Friday. Yeah i ended up mid pack, i was hoping 0.94 under would get me a little higher on the ladder but it was a pretty quick field.

I just shot you an email
