If you race national events in Stock Eliminator with NHRA, and expect fair treatment, Fuggetaboutit, ...right? Come to think about it ,it's the same if you don't race with them right now.

They have to keep to the schedule as much as they can. What about the people that can't hang around for a extra day and need to get over with . They will never be able to make everybody happy so Why try.

I understand mother nature dictates the schedule. No curfew in Vegas. Run until its no longer safe or everyone in all classes gets 1 pass in each lane.

Severe wind (80), dust and rain damage. Track and pits were a mess, big rig blow overs!! White knuckles the entire trip! They worked thier tails off getting it ready!

I couldn't agree with you more Mark, and I feel for every racer who wound up only getting two runs for their $330-$340 entry fee. That's pretty weak bang for the buck....I hope the weather is better this week than last week???? However, remember last years divisional had rain all three days and was completed in November. So I hope the GOOD LORD smiles upon the "Strip at Las Vegas" so we can run the race like normal!

At Speedworld years ago they had a guaranteed top 8 payout in a Pro Mod class. Only 6 cars showed up so I took my GT/DA Monte and qualified 5th out of 7 cars in the field. After last qualifying pass the director came over and said no go. I asked why and he said car doesnt pass tech for Pro Mod. I stated that its teched for the speed it was running. Still didn't work.

Over the years, I can recall several times we raced without ANY time runs....Line em' up, run em; sometimes on Monday. I don't recall any of us ever being "vaginally damaged" by this as it was almost always a weather thing and out of everyone's control. Things commonly happen at the races that seem unfair to those involved but in defense of the upper management (even Graham) the correct call is made most of the time. Nut up Buttercup; It's racin' and this is no place for a snowflake.
