Default Re: Randy Payne passes......

Met Big at Indy in 04. Certainly one of the highlights of that trip. My Dad always would ask about him and would love to visit with him at the races-guaranteed laughter and great stories with every visit. Butch and David are tremendous guys-they all have treated me and my sons like family. I was very happy for Randy, Butch and David when they won the D2 race at Reynolds 2 years ago-I'll never forgot how excited Butch's son (Big's Grandson) was after every round and especially after the final. So glad that they all had that experience together-truly a blessing. I was able to attend Big's 75th Birthday and what an event. It was easy to see how happy he was to have his family and so many racing friends together for his Bday (I'll never forget the ElCamino with the bed filled with ice and beer as only Big could do!!!!)

Butch and David-thank you for sharing your Dad with us. He obviously touched many. RIP my friend.

Bryan and family.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Big Stuff! I won't ever forget being in the bar behind the starting line at Belle Rose a few years ago with Randy! He was buying all the ladies Jello shots! Including me! Surely one of a kind!

RIP

Patsy & Larry
