KB Trailer Sales hosted a racer appreciation dinner tonight with some really tasty hamburgers hotdogs etc.

Me. G - Garret Ghezzi - this is one of the original 50 factory SS AMX cars. Mr. G is now running a 290.









This is an amazing inventory of rental golf carts to have on hand for weekly racing. Is there any other track in the country that has this many of its own golf carts for rent ?

This is Ernie Neals latest SS car. It's absolutely stunning in person and filled with some really cool craftsmanship details that just make you smile .

This is the weather concern for the race weekend. Right now Sunday looks to be the trouble day with a significant possibility of rain mid day. There has been some talk that eliminations would start early first thing on Saturday morning to try to get a couple of rounds in before the end of the day Saturday. After the rain out at Indy the last thing people would want would be another race that needs to be continued somewhere else

The weather looks great today with temps stable in the high 50s. That's nearly 30° cooler than yesterday. Looks like they'll be a bit of a headwind that could offset some of the performance gain by the cooler temps.

It was a real challenge to post any updates from the track yesterday so be patient if you don't see anything until later today.

Unk just announced that everybody is going to get 2 hits and then into first round of eliminations. He didn't say how late they would race today.

Seeing all those pics and having raced at that track twice , makes me think I really need to go there again. What a nice place with great staff. The SS/I group of pics are nice, what a car, nice job and I am sure it will run well.
