Are you offended by time slips? Point is the slips show what happened. They guy should have looked at the scoreboards and didn't. He made a mistake, everyone does, but he was just calling out another racer recently for the same thing, but then cries to get a re-run. And if you want to know who I am my name is on my posts.

It does look like an inconsistent application of the rules.

Why is it so hard to look up at the scoreboards before you stage your car to check your dial? Take responsibility for yourself end of story. Typical liberal America now, blame somebody else because you did not check the board to make sure it was correct yourself.

Would you have wanted a rerun if the scoreboard had 12.20 and you ran 1.30 something under and won the race? Just trying to understand how the rule applies about excepting right or wrong dial in

This incident just goes to show if you feel you have been done wrong by NHRA, go immediately to the tower and take proof of their mistake. Yes, the rulebook is clear about accepting the dial in on the scoreboard and it is the racer's responsibility to check the dial in before staging. That being said, it is clear that the new Div 3 Director Jeff Conley saw the mistake was NHRA's fault and made the decision to allow a rerun.

A rerun was, in my opinion, was correct. And with that information and 65 cents it will get you a senior coffee at the golden arches.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones!

All the classes should be respected as fellow racers and we all need each racer to keep the sport alive.

I have owned a race car and raced Stock, SST, SC, and currently race SG and I can tell you each is different but all deserve respect with different skill needed. All of the classes is what keeps us all racing and what is being posted about SC dragsters makes me ill.

I know the dragsters take a long time to run and there are a lot of them but we should all respect them. They paid the same entry fee everyone else did and only get one race as compared to Stock and Super Stock getting two races where class is run but you do not hear complaints about that posted here.

I know this is off topic but I feel the need to respond.

Those of you that feel the need go ahead and flame me just like all the classes you do not run yourselves.
