Thanks, that is what I assumed, but I have never seen that before.

A few shots from Sunday's action along with Super Stock winner circle photos. I tried to get up to the starting line for Stock, but we were trying to beat the rain, and they were pushing all finalist to get back to the lanes and I missed Stock. In fact Super Gas did not get to run their final as the rains just start as Super Gas was ready to pull out.

I also missed the winner circle for Stock, Chris Valentine was the first one to get photos and was just leaving when I got there. Sorry folks, I just don't move as fast as I use to.

It was great weekend of racing, with 536 cars attending. Comp had 26, the top classes were 40 plus, the Super classes were packed, and of coarse Stock and Super Stock had almost 200. All this with a poor forecast. Couple that with a Bowling Green race on the same weekend and you have what I see as strong support for sportsman racing, dying, I don't think so.

Hats off to the D1 and Maple Grove staff, well done guys and girls.

On a side note, The Super Stocker driven by David Barton, owned by the Cook Brother's, is a Stocker. When Sal Biondo is not driving it in Stock, David is driving it in Super Stock. Its cool to see so many cars these days that can do double duty and still be competitive.
