I agree on the yellow window (cardboard/plywood) solution. Dang...to let him even run it with that!
I remember a guy at a track that broke the window completely out of his truck because he was told "If the glass is there, no cracks allowed". lol Was the roll bar a common place for the fire extinguisher?
