There is a risk of rain early tomorrow morning which would delay the start of qualifying if it hit the track. Right now there's a much higher risk of rain on Friday that could interrupt a good part of the racing schedule.

From Weather Underground.

Good morning. Here's the latest forecast from Weather Underground. It's looking much better for today, with a tailwind. But tomorrow............

When I put the cursor over the thumbnails to increase the size the whole image gets very dark and will not enlarge. This happens on the desktop and laptop. Does anyone have a suggestion to correct this problem? Thanks.

If you use IE as a browser, it can have issues. Google Chrome and Firefox do not have this issue. If you are using IE, left click the photo and click on open link.

Its cloudy with some sun, but no rain as of yet. I think we should be good for today. Its very sticky out and it is supposed to go up to 90 today. Here are some weather numbers as of 8:00.

Temp 76
Humid 66%
Bar 29.00
DA 3034
Wind slight tail.

The internet is starting to get real slow, so reports will be slow today.

Well they have been prepping the track since at least 6:30 which is when I woke up and heard them. It is a beautiful day and they just called Stock to the lanes. It looks to be at least a tenth quicker than Bristol.

Patsy,

Is that an Illinois 25 year old Antique Vehicle plate?

Speaking for Patsy, it definitely is an Illinois Antique Vehicle plate. Eligible cars have to be at least 25 years old to wear one. So this must be a '92 or earlier Camaro pictured with a lot of updating.

He could have opted for an Illinois Extended Use Antique Plate so he could drive it more often, not just to and from repair shops or car shows, but those plates cost just a tad more.
