Richard directed the traffic at the crossroads on the sportsman put side where the return Road dumps into the main pit road. He also works the Indy 500 at the speedway.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() VP racing fuels presented class winners with a really nice jacket. ![]() Jimmy Ronzello and Charlie Downing ran each other for class. Jimmy pulled a huge we'll stand which slowed him down just enough for Charlie Bob to take the win in the car that Jimmy owns. A little bit of background information on the blue Shelby convertible that Jimmy owns. This is the first development car used by Ford racing in the 2008 Cobra Jet program. The development car was not supposed to be a convertible and it wasn't supposed to be a Shelby. This original Shelby convertible was transformed into a standard Mustang for the Cobra Jet program. This is a rare one of one cars that we will likely see bring big money at an auction or sale one day.

Enlarged the photo of Brian's Comet and noticed "Integrity" on the sidewall of his front tires. Seem to recall this on a certain GP stocker on a thread a few years ago... 👍

Keith you are correct I forgot to put up net and wear my gloves, I will try to race safer.
On another safety note Don Fezell highly recommends a Hans device, he believes that it saved his life when he hit the wall and destroyed his car. Don is working to get back on the track as soon as possible. I was good to see him and know that he is ready to get back racing. |
