So more top end shots from Super Stock this morning.

First round for the Factory Stock Showdown cars was all about the right tune up. Trying to figure out how much power the track could take was the question. Leah Pritchett, John Calvert, Roy Hill, Carl Tasca and David Barton all had traction issues, but Barton was the only one who came out with a win. Kevin Skinner had an impressive 1.194 sixty, and Steven Bell had the fast time of the round with a 8.212. Randy Taylor left before the tree activated and Pete Gasko laid down a geart run with a 8.239 for the win. Second round should be interesting with all the heavy hitters still in.

We are all done for the night. Super Stock ended today's action with the 5 round. I have a few batches of Super Stock so check back as I finish editing the rest.

Good morning all. Well its day 5 at the 63rd US Nationals. Today's weather will be warmer, temps will be in the upper 80's. Stock has Steve Wann taking on Larry Gilley and Dan Fletcher taking on Darrell Steiger. There could be a possible heads in the finals as two E/SA cars are still left.

In Super Stock we could also see a heads up in the final with two GT/IA cars left. Brianna Kelly takes on Kevin Helms with David Rampy taking on Marion Stephenson.

In the Factory Stock Showdown we have David Barton taking on Kevin Skinner and Scott Libersher taking on Steven Bell. Bell had the quickest et of the round with a 8.22, but the field is tight with rest ruining in the mid 8.20's.

Hey Brett, you know I was just kidding you. You had a productive weekend, sorry to hear but your engine. Anything you can contribute to Class Racer is a big plus and always welcomed.

Thanks Kevin and to everyone with the kind words. Its always my pleasure to cover the racers. I could not ask for a better job, being able to race and cover the races is a win win for me. You all know the saying, if you you love what you do for a living you will never work a day in your life.
