About 2 years ago ( or it might have been last year) a certain racing rep. for one of the big 3 automakers tried to get hp reductions on some combos.
He was trying for a 20 % or so reduction on combos that are rarely used. ( mostly OBD II combos already in the classification guide ) Anyways, he went to Calif. to talk to NHRA about it but did not have any luck. ![]()

So NHRA should blanketly reduce HP on thousands of combos without even. Being asked and with NO REGARD for the consequences including the ruining of hundreds of thier dues paying members current combos ??? Are you guys on the crack pipe or wtf ??? Did you guys not see the FARCE that was Indy #1-2qualifiers ???

But be that as it may, how many cars would have been in U/SA , without the 302's? That would be one, correct? I don't think that would have been so great for the long term health of your class. Just sayin'.
