If the date on your battery has not expired most battery companies will give you some money towards the replacement of your electrical device. I had a Mag Lite replaced by Energizer. Emails and photos was all it took.

Yes Energize is very good about this, if you actually read the warranties on the others, they don't look too encouraging. Because of this I only buy Energizer.

Not only do they replace the damaged part, but they fall all over themselves apologizing for the problem.
