I tried that Eman ..Pounded that sealer right out of there. Took a while to start leaking, but eventually,it would. I ended up using a Loctite red gasket maker, which set up like stone when the 2 parts were crushed together, but it's next to impossible to get apart without a chisel ! These gaskets don't leak, or crush
