Default Re: Looking for advise on fuel system

I`m like Mr. Irving, nothing fancy. My Stocker Mustang used a Holley "blue" pump and regulator, using 3/8" steel tubing front to back. My low 10/high 9 second big block bracket car has used the same twin Holley "blue" pumps for over 30 years, still working fine. I have a 5 gallon fuel cell with 3/8" tubing from each outlet of the cell into each pump, then a Moroso Y block with 1/2" aluminum Moroso tubing up to the engine compartment, where it has another Y block with 3/8" lines, each line feeding a Holley blue regulator, and then each regulator feeds a float bowl of a Holley 780. Obviously, with 2 good sized float bowls, a Holley is easier to keep supplied with fuel, that say a Quadrajet. I have seen some Stocker Q Jet fuel systems that would likely be more than sufficent to supply a Pro Stock engine. A tiny single float bowl with 1 needle & seat must be a challange to keep full.
