You only speak for yourself.
Just look at Factory Stock in NHRA..
CM, GT and PS worked fine in IHRA
So did the FI, Truck Classes, FWD.

As for Stockers being Stockers.
The dilution came from the morphing Class Rules.
Not from a new class car.
