OK, now I'm reading that the Warfel cuda was the Sox & Martin A/MP car and after that, it was owned by Stewart Pomeroy, before Glen had it. (Boy, S & M sure owned a lot of cars didn't they?) Nice pic of the Dart, thanks for the enlargement, Charlie!

Did Warfel have 2 white cudas? The car from the early 80s he had become later "the Carolina Hemi" , thought it was a Barnett car but not sure but thought it was built later than S@M cars .Never ever heard it was a Sox and Martin car though .The Polewik family had it a few years ago , Alex Polewik could confirm its past .

Also correct info. The Cuda was still painted as Stewart had it when Shively was racing it. Then it got paint in silver and purple with a orange and pink striping, like the DeFrank and Cohen yellow Cuda.

What happened to the original DeFrank and Cohen Barracuda after they bought the Bagwell Cuda? Wasn't it the car that used a 12-bolt Chevy rear end?

Does any body know how many of the "original" not clones 1968 HEMI Darts and HEMI Cuda's still exist-How many of each were built I've heard 50 and all kinds of other numbers but what was the total production of Darts and of Cuda's --I've enjoyed following this thread and all of the historical stuff about who/what/when/where/pictures/videos etc. etc. Just what's left not those that are actively raced but those trailer queens or sitting in garages etc.--FED 387
