Go with the gas! I bought electric and have had to replace batteries every couple years at $700 a pop so it doesn't take long to add up to the price difference. Plus if you need to tow your car for any reason the electric is not going to do it, unless ofcourse you would like to buy mine I will get a gas one. 😊

Defina GAs tat away from electric. Major cost to replace batteries. Used between $500 and $5000 depending on what you buy---new $ 5000 to $10000 depending on what you buy-- if you buy used stay away from Harley hard to find parts for-- get something a little more contemporary not an antique if it breaks again hard to find repair parts. It all depends on your budget!!!!!

Gas is the best for what we use them for .
Electrics will tow a car better as they have more torque ,but the charging time can be an issue , you cannot fast charge them without reducing the life of the batteries. ....Plus they are VERY heavy . Club Car is an excellent choice for many because it is the lightest cart out there due to its aluminum frame and ABS plastic body. Kawasaki engine is strong and durable plus the rev limiter and governor are very easy to defeat. ....Mine can hit 40 mph with no gear or engine mods.

Also sounds like a good way to get a $10000 ticket!

If you are interested, I have a 2012 Yamaha G29 Gas cart for sale.
It is in fantastic shape. Check my ad in the classifieds. I have had both and prefer the gas for most of the reasons listed.. |

https://imgur.com/bmcoxFU I've had this Chuck Wagon since 2011. Paid 4200 for it new. Honda 11.5 hp. It has towed my 4000 lb race truck back when it broke.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am looking for a Club Car gas powered. Thanks Tom for your info. I might have a line on one within 10 miles of me. Tom if I get one I'll catch up with you at the Atco .90 races unless your heading to Virginia next month.

Look me up ,I'll definitely be in Virginia. . the gov/rev limiter deal takes all of 5 min. I've done quit a few . As far as affecting durability , I've had mine for ten years and all I do is tune it up occasionally and change the oil . Just changed the belts ,mainly because the starter/generator belt finally wore out .
