"NHRA Pro Mod Charlotte Q2 has been revised, disallowing Rick Hord's 5.711 @ 260.91 run from Q2.
The stated reason was even though the car passed post run inspection including review of data requisition, because Rick refused to provide NHRA with a hard copy, the run was ruled "illegal". Rick Hord stated that he spent a lot of money in developing his car and rightfully concerned with where a hard copy of proprietary info could end up." Although not stk/ss , this story is interesting from a general regulations standpoint , NHRA wanted alot of info, and the run was fast, but Charlotte is a big speed track because of the downhill slope.
