While I have no experience with the newer CAT engines, I have heard that they really, really, like clean fuel filters. So I would put some new fuel filters on fuel...possibly a cheap fix.

Austin we run some CAT's any idea what year it is. As Mr Grubbs said fuel can be a sensitive issue on them or in particular if it senses water in the fuel. Other than that there's not alot you can tell them on a CAT without hooking a computer to it.
